Toyo Tire Corporation was founded in Japan in 1945 and is a producer of tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, trucks & buses, as well as automobile components. It operates worldwide, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Italy, Russia, China, Thailand and Malaysia. It has more than 13,000 employees worldwide. The Company was established In Serbia in 2019 and started construction of a plant in 2020, with the planned start of manufacturing in April 2022. The Company plans to invest 390 million Euros and employ more than 500 persons by 2023.

Opis posla

Finance Manager will be one of the key roles for the Company in order to achieve the most cost-efficient factory within Toyo Tires. In this role, you would:

  • Continuously seek for cost reduction within all financial aspects, lead in driving cost down in the Plant & lead cost initiatives
  • Take full responsibility for the Finance management department and its activities of the Company
  • Be responsible for the future financial strategy and amendments
  • Manage budgeting process and prepare regular reports and analyses for Management and Head Quarters
  • Cooperate with other managers to analyze and interpret monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results in comparison to budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
  • Be forming financial models of treasury and cash flow control on a daily and monthly basis
  • Cooperate with external parties such as banks, auditors, lawyers, tax advisers
  • Cooperate with the global finance team regarding financial matters and investments
  • Seek/understand new finance/tax-related regulations when announced, share expected influence on the Company
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial and operational regulations
  • Be participating in payment activities including but not limited to preparation of payment instructions and performing internal control activities related to payment
  • Be preparing and analyzing strategic business unit financial statements, including monitoring and analyzing operating results compared to plan and prior period
  • Be developing business policies, conduct special financial and business-related studies, and cooperate with other departments in the preparation of analyses
  • Be preparing monthly operating reports to assist management in the understanding financial results
  • Be accountable for financial audits and financial audits reports, reports related to government incentives and audits related to such incentives, as well as for the development of financial/accounting/tax processes

Zahtevi pozicije

To be successful in this role, you would have:

  • College/University education - a Master’s degree in Economics or Finance would be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Finance, preferably in the industrial, manufacturing company
  • Previous experience in multinational companies is an advantage
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and various financial analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Serbian tax and statutory regulations
  • Experience in financial modeling
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including cross-organizational teams
  • Ability to effectively make recommendations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Strong knowledge of Serbian legislation and IFRS
  • Hands-on approach and commitment to the expansion and success of the business
  • Preferably, experience in SAP, but not eliminatory
  • Fluency in written and spoken English language
