Opis posla

As the CFO, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the financial operations of the family office, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, accounting, tax, and risk management. You will work closely with the investment teams and senior management of our portfolio companies to provide strategic financial insights and guidance, evaluate investment opportunities, and optimize financial performance across the portfolio. In this role, you would:

Develop and execute overall fund financial strategy.
Manage financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Create a singular performance and financial reporting system across all portfolio companies.
Oversee the fund's accounting function, including financial statements, general ledger, and accounts payable/receivable.

Establish self-sufficient accounting functions at portfolio companies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to financial operations, including tax and audit – for the family office and all portfolio companies.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks and enhance the family office overall financial health.
Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate and execute investment opportunities, including conducting due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessments.
Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and guidance on key business decisions – supervisory board member role at portfolio companies.
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and other financial partners. Establish great working relationship with commercial banks in order to optimize the financing strategy for the family office and portfolio companies – both acquisition finance and financing operating needs of the individual businesses.
Participate in structuring the family office – oversee holding companies, develop tax optimization strategy and work with various international advisers.
Manage the family office finance team and mentor the finance teams of portfolio companies to ensure high-quality work and professional development opportunities.

Zahtevi pozicije

To be successful in this role, you would have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA, ACCA or CFA preferred
At least 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, including experience in working with private equity
Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, with a proven track record of driving financial performance and growth in a complex business environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders. Advanced English communication skills.
Strong leadership and management skills, self-motivaiton and enterprenuiral spirit
Driving licence B category.
