On behalf of our client, a leading global competitor in the automotive industry, ManpowerGroup Serbia is searching for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and to successfully fulfil the position of: Section Manager


Opis posla

- Manage and improve operations of the section that you manage, develop talent within the team, drive engagement, commitment and responsibility;
- Ensure continuous, efficient and safe operations of your section, through development and implementation of a collaborative and successful strategy;
- Set targets and strategy for your section’s efficiency and capability improvement;
- Ensure the assigned section is capable of producing products to Technology’s specifications, in accordance with the targets;
- In cooperation with superiors, develop and implement strategy for reduction of costs and scrap in your section;
- Work with predictive maintenance to properly, efficiently and effectively maintain the equipment, and for quick and adequate repairs when breakdowns occur;
- Manage equipment in a manner consistent with maintaining high reliability;
- Build high performing leadership team by selecting, developing and promoting effective leaders and managers;
- Implementation of plans, goals and objectives in your assigned section that provide the greatest possibility of achieving the plants goals;
- Determine and implement leadership team KPIs and incentives to deliver on assigned section goals;
- Report all accidents and participate in Environmental Audits inside and outside the shopfloor. Control adequate waste disposal and check that there is no mixing of hazardous, non-hazardous waste and recyclables. React to Environmental hazards and provide feedback to the HSE Department;
- Implement during your work and supervise the implementation of legal and internal regulations and procedures related to Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental protection (including obligatory proper use of prescribed personal protective instruments) and Fire Protection, by the employees who work under your orders and supervision;
- Charged with OSH and Fire Protection instruments, responsible for their regularity, availability and proper utilization by the employees whose work you coordinate;
- Together with the quality department, responsible for product quality and condition containment;
- With Engineering and Reliability, driving the highest levels of equipment reliability;
- With entire business, challenge and review cost reduction opportunities including weight reduction, waste reduction, productivity improvement, and excess resource reduction;
- With all external contractor partners, efficient, effective, and cost-conscious operations;
- For timely and quality execution of all work assignments report to the Operations Manager.

Zahtevi pozicije

- University degree in a technical field;
- Previous experience in leading roles in the production (automotive industry);
- Fluency in English;
- PC literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
