Consultation and support of development for difficult and demanding Metal/Plastic components at material selection, design of part geometry, drawing specification and developing of tooling concepts/processes by consideration of production orientated and economic aspects. If applicable, support at implementation of new tooling-/process technologies.
Release of drawings with regard to at task1 defined part spectrum (Production Orientated Release )
Execution of simulations/layouts respectively assignment of more detailed analyses and participation in discussions and definition of measures.
Independent execution of cost calculations in accordance with at task 1 defined part spectrum for toolings and components. Validation of plausibility of these, both at suppliers, and at customers.
Participation in Feasibility Study discussions with suppliers and release of FS regarding Tool- , Production Line- and Process- Parameter Sheet in accordance with at task 1 defined part spectrum
Examination and if applicable, supervision of the tool manufacturing and optimization process for tools. Assistance of Quality and Purchasing Department at supplier quality gates and and Full Run Tests in accordance with at task 1 defined part spectrum. Definition of suitable measures and if necessary, definition of containment and monitoring measures.
Support and consultancy at part modifications, technology related quality and supply problems during series production. Initiation of Improvements and ratio measures as well as assistance at tool relocations and supplier audits.
A technical university degree with a regular study period or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in another way
3 – 5 years of professional experience on same positions
Good knowledge of project management
Good knowledge of cost calculation and target setting
Good knowledge at FMEA and at process simulation
Profound knowledge in injection molding technology
