Supports the development of control accounts and control budget
Creates, maintain and report on the project forecast.
Setup and issuance of cost reports, including cash flow, incurred & commitment curves.
Development of Final Forecast Cost (FFC) and proactive identification of risks and mitigation.
Proactively analyses cost data and reports findings to the project team.
Supports the implementation of effective contingency and change management process.
Supports the setup and implementation of project progress measurement practices.
Identifies improvement opportunities for streamlining work process.
Supports the development and maintenance of project controls procedures, including contingency and change management, forecasting, accruals & forex.
Supports compliance with standardised processes, systems and tools.
Interfaces with the PMC, finance, procurement & contracts, engineering, construction and estimating groups to ensure accuracy in all cost control issues.
Provides technical cost support to project stakeholders.
Degree in engineering / construction related professions desirable –but not essential
Trade background or Association of cost engineers – desirable but not essential
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in cost control role managing EPCM teams
Experience on mega projects >$1bn
Knowledge of SAP an advantage
Proficient in the use of cost management databases (Prism, Ecosys, CMS etc.)
Excellent Microsoft office skills required
