MTU Maintenance Serbia is a newly founded 100% subsidiary of MTU Aero Engines AG and we are looking for Inspection Engineer whose essential task is to be responsible for technical and processual support of detail, final and dimensional (CMM) inspection and taking a central role in evaluation and maintenance of engine parts in terms of material salvation.
• Transfer of engine manual instructions into MTU Serbia process environment (routing sheets, process charts, measurement sheets, etc.)
• Creation of work instructions
• Highlighting disorders; initiate and execute actions of improvement of quality and cost saving
• Training of senior inspectors
• Initiation of new part repairs
• Programming of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
• Support of IDM system (Inspection Data Management)
• Coordination of scrap and repair reviews (performed by senior inspectors)
• Communication with OEM and costumers in terms of clarification, One-Time-Concession, etc.
• Damage analysis and material salvation
• Accompaniment of audits (internal and external)
• Specification and procurement of equipment and utilities
• Master mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
• Minimum 2 years of professional and practical experience in process engineering or work planning in metal working business
